Members at Prestonwood Country Club enjoy a number of golf amenities including the only 54 holes of championship golf in the Triangle and recently renovated green complexes by Rick Robbins, a Jack Nicklaus protege. Our three courses take full advantage of the area's gently rolling land and boast of uncompromising vision and impeccable execution. Our full service golf pro shop offers members access to five PGA Golf Class A Professionals and three Assistant Professionals.

Our Courses

Originally designed by golf course architect Tom Jackson, our courses with mirrored ponds and manicured greens offer golfers of all skill levels a challenging round. Recent course renovations on all 54 holes included rebuilt green complexes, replacement of select bunkers and numerous playability enhancements with the objective of improving pin placements and green surfance, as well as provide a more consistent style of design.

Prestonwood has played host to some of the most celebrated golf talents and has been a favored venue of the SAS Championship, a PGA TOUR Champions Tour event. In fact, World Golf Hall of Fame member Nick Price offered this about Prestonwood, "I've always enjoyed that it's a ball striker's golf course. It doesn't pressure you to go at the flag all the time - you do have options, which every good golf course has, different ways of playing your approach shots to the green."
